Mates Chat
Mates Chat is our community conversation on each hay drive — a public group chat where members share updates, ask questions, and coordinate. It's visible to everyone during the open phase, and to purchasers during the sold, delivery and collection phases. Anything you post can be seen by other members.
For private or sensitive matters — payment details, account issues, or anything you'd rather discuss one-on-one — send a direct message to the organiser instead.

Hay Mates membership information
Hay Mates membership is free. Here's how joining works:
Start the induction
Tap "Join Hay Mates" to begin our short member induction — there's no separate sign-up form, everything happens in one guided flow.
Complete your details & create your account
Work through the steps to learn how Hay Mates works, our community values, payment process, safety rules, and agree to our Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver. You'll set up your email and password at the end and verify it with a 6-digit code.
Browse while we review
Once submitted, your application is reviewed by the organiser. You can log in and browse Hay Drives straight away — ordering is unlocked once you're approved, usually within 1–2 business days. You'll receive a notification and email when it happens.
